What we collect
Only what a plumbing job needs. When you call or email, that means your name, the phone number or email you contacted us from, the address the work is at, and a description of the problem. If we carry out work, we keep a record of what was done, when, and what it cost.
This website has no contact form, no account system, no newsletter sign-up and no shopping function, so there is nothing you can submit here. The only way to reach us is by phone or email, and what we hold is what you tell us directly.
What the website itself collects
The site is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies of its own, runs no analytics, carries no advertising and has no social media trackers. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which record the address of the request, the page asked for and the time, and those are used for security and for keeping the site working.
The contact page embeds a map from Google Maps. When that map loads, Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies, under Google's privacy policy rather than ours. That embed is the only third-party content on the site, and it appears on one page.
What we do with it
We use what you give us to do the work, to reach you about it, to invoice, and to keep the records a business is required to keep. We do not sell information, we do not rent it, and we do not pass it to anyone for marketing.
Who else may see it
- Suppliers, where a part has to be ordered to a specific address
- Building management or a managing agent, where the work requires their approval or access and you have asked us to deal with them
- Our accountant and our insurers, where they need it for their own proper purposes
- Anyone we are legally obliged to give it to
How long we keep it
Job and financial records are kept for as long as tax and business record-keeping rules require. Enquiries that do not become work are not kept indefinitely.
